Although we have received anecdotal reports from some Critical Care users who believe freezing extends shelf-life, none of our Critical Car products have been tested for this manner of storage. As a result, we cannot formally recommend freezing any of our Critical Care varieties to prolong shelf-life. It is also important to note that frequent thawing and refreezing of the product can increase the risk of condensation forming on the inside of the packet, thereby increasing the risk of mold formation. Prolonged freezing or frequent thaw/freeze cycles can also result in vitamin degradation.
