If one of your pets' Enriched Life items becomes dirty or soiled, the material(s) the item is composed of should be taken into consideration before attempting to clean it
- For items made from natural or absorbent materials (i.e. hay, wood, cardboard, etc) it is best to dispose of the soiled item and replace it with a new option
- For plastic-based items (i.e. teasers, balls, wheels) you can rinse or wipe the product down with a vinegar and warm water dilution or a similar non-toxic, pet-friendly cleaning solution
- Allow the item to fully dry and inspect it closely for retained moisture or signs of mold before reintroducing it to your pet
- Our fabric-based items (i.e. Cozy Cave, Woven Hideouts, Honeycomb Hammock, etc), are machine washable for long-term use
- If you notice any signs of mold (white or black patches, unpleasant or musty aroma, etc), on any Enriched Life product, the item should be discarded
- Please know the frequency and type of interaction your pet has with their enrichment items influences wear and overall product lifespan
