The sheen that you are noting on the Enriched Life Play Garden and Garden Variety Rocker is the result of the process of distributing the water-based dye onto the wood of this product. This process mimics the way a printer distributes ink onto paper which results in a slightly different look when compared to our other Enriched Life products. There are no additional coatings utilized and this dye is 100% non-toxic, water-based and safe for your pet.
