Bulk sizes (15lb -25lb) of Oxbow's fortified diets allow for a more economical way for multiple pet households to provide premium nutrition. Although the length of time that each bag will last is highly dependent on individual animals and species, pet parents can get a rough estimate by referring to the feeding chart on the package. To get the most out of your pets' bulk diet, it's important to keep the following shelf-life information in mind:
- Packages (unopened and opened) should be stored in a dry, temperature-controlled area away from direct sunlight
- Once opened the bag should be tightly sealed after each use, removing as much air as possible.
- If stored correctly, unopened bulk packages of our diets are guaranteed to be shelf-stable for 2 years
- Once the package is opened our diets are guaranteed for a full 60-days
- After 60-days, opened product runs the risk of nutrient degradation. For this reason, we do not recommend purchasing a bulk-sized diet for your pets if they are unable to consume the entire contents within 60 days.
